Lady GaGa – Die neue Single „Marry The Night“

Lady Gaga – ohne Zweifel eine der größten Stars, die unsere Zeit gesehen hat. Gestartet als unbekannte Newcomerin vor rund zwei Jahren, hat sie mittlerweile unfassbar viele Fans und gilt als die Ikone überhaupt. Wurde sie früher noch mit Madonna verglichen, kräht danach heute kein Han mehr. Sie hat Madonna längst in ihrem Schatten verblassen lassen.

Mit „Marry The Night“ veröffentlicht sie nun die fünfte Single aus ihrem aktuellen Album „Born This Way“. Diesen Song hat sie ihrer Heimatstadt New York gewidmet: es geht um die emotionale Bindung an seine Heimatstadt und somit auch ein Gefühl, das sicherlich einige von uns kennen werden.
Eine zeitlang versuchte Gaga in Los Angeles glücklich zu werden, um schlussendlich doch wieder in das geliebte New York zurückzukehren: „Der Song handelt davon, wie ich nach New York zurückkehre und dem Mut, den es mich gekostet hat, zu sagen: ‚Ich hasse Hollywood – Ich will einfach in Brooklyn leben und Musik machen’“, so Lady Gaga.
