Er galt als Geächtet, verstossen von seinen Freunden und auch von der Musikindustrie. Die Prügelattacke auf seine Ex-Freundin Rihanna hat Chris Brown mehr als eine ganze Menge Ärger eingebracht. Trotzdem hat der junge Sänger sich nicht unterkriegen lassen und im stillen Kämmerlein an seinem neuen Album gearbeitet. Es handelt sich dabei um sein viertes Album und dafür konnte Brown jede Menge neuer und dann doch auch wieder alte Freunde gewinnen…
…das neue Album „F.A.M.E.“ entstand in Zusammenarbeit Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Drake, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, Lil‘ Wayne und dem Number-One Produzenten Timbaland, die alle maßgeblich am Erfolg der Platte beteiligt sind. Schon am 4.März erschien seine neue Single „Yeah 3x“, die sich sofort in den iTunes Charts positionierte und kurz darauf auch die deutschen Single-Charts enterte.
Er legte einen guten Auftakt hin und landete zum Start der neuen Single direkt auf Platz 8 im Single-Ranking.
Auch wenn man sein Verhalten damals nicht unbedingt entschuldigen kann, so hat sich Chris Brown mittlerweile in jedem Fall musikalisch rehabilitiert.
Sein neues Album „F.A.M.E.“ klingt aus einem Guß und ist sicher eine der besten Platte, die Brown je aufgenommen hat. Es steckt eine Menge Ehrgeiz drin und der Wille es allen zu zeigen, wieder aufzustehen. Das hat sich nicht nur in den Texten, sondern teils auch in der Musik gezeigt. Brown klingt 2011 frisch und befreit, auch wenn Kritiker meinen, dass der junge Sänger schon sehr nah an seinem Idol Usher angelehnt ist.
Das ändert jedoch nichts an der Tatsache, dass mit „F.A.M.E.“ ein gutes R&B-Album den Weg in die deutschen Plattenläden finden wird. Erscheinen soll das neue Album in Deutschland ab dem 25. März. Die erste Single „Yeah 3x“ ist schon am 4. März erschienen. Anbei gibt es an dieser Stelle das offizielle Video zum Song mit einer wirklich aufregenden Tanzperformance.
